Does Robin marry Ted?

Just before the wedding ceremony, Robin experiences doubts and confides in Ted that she feels she should be marrying him instead of Barney.

In response, Ted suppresses his true emotions and tells her that his feelings of love for her have faded. He then remains present as Robin goes ahead with her marriage to Barney, saying a heartfelt farewell to his friends.
