The youngest member of a family of acrobats called the Flying Graysons, Grayson witnesses the murder of his parents by mafia boss Tony Zucco, who is attempting to extort money from the circus that hired them. After this tragic event, Bruce Wayne takes Grayson under his wing as his legal ward and trains him to be his sidekick, Robin.
